Welcome to the M.M.O.I. website

Dedicated to Society Members and mill enthusiasts throughout Ireland and beyond, MMOI was launched in July 2001and held their first AGM in October of the same year. The Society aims to promote interest and awareness of this aspect of Ireland's Industrial heritage.

Our Activities include:

  • Sharing views on restoration

  • Facilitating lecture tours

  • Publishing papers / articles

  • Pooling members' expertise

  • Promoting historical research
